We'll tell you about the traditions of tea drinking, how they arose, the importance of Richard Twining, Catherine of Braganza, William Pitt the Younger, the china tea trade and its impact on the nation as a whole.

We'll also point out some of the vocabulary and the controversies that still exist, such as Tea or Milk first.

We'll look at how women were central to the defeat of coffee, how the "tea break" became ubiquitous and the fascinating story of how very early political lobbying and marketing was fundamental.
